Welcome to the new Getaway Driver blog

We started The Getaway Driver because we live and breath great cars.  But we don't just want to drive them - we want to really enjoy them.  Which means combining the cars with good roads and great places to stay (to keep our passengers happy too).  So we created The Getaway Driver to do just that. 

The Getaway Driver is the only company in the UK specialising in self drive classic car hire breaks.  You can choose to drive any one of our 50 classic cars available to hire from 6 UK locations in Shropshire, Suffolk, Worcestershire, Yorkshire, Dorset and East Midlands.  We'll put together a route and book accommodation for you - then you're off.  We also offer a wide range of unique packages and experiences including pursuit driver training.
